This weekend I had the opportunity to tag along with my in-laws, Allen & Beth for an egg hunt in New Haven. This is the first year Caleb can actually hunt for eggs and put them in his basket so it was fun getting a little practice in before the event at John & Beth’s house this coming weekend. Caleb was able to start a little earlier with the 2 and under crowd. Close behind him was his cousins, Bryce, Shelby, & Aubrey. The event was at one of Beth’s coworkers’ farms and had a lot to offer for guests. Thanks for letting us share in the fun Beth!
Extreme Couponing: Medders Nation Edition
This morning Caleb and I helped Aimee clean out her old, unused coupons to make room for the new ones she was clipping. We took the pile of clipped papers and tossed them into the air and even covered up with them for a short break.Â

Caleb says a few words
First of all, I can’t believe my last post on this blog was in mid-January! I’m sorry to those back home who tune in often and have nothing new to see here. Sometimes I have a hard time gathering my thoughts of all the new things Caleb is doing and expressing them onto the site. I am going to make a better effort to add content weekly and to get the site back in tip-top shape!
Aimee caught this video the other day while Caleb enjoyed some oatmeal for breakfast. Since Caleb received tubes in his ears a few weeks ago he seems to no longer favor bananas so oatmeal has become a good fall back choice after a week full of eating eggs. In the video below, Caleb manages to mumble a few words to the camera in between spoon fulls of his meal. Enjoy!
Grrr… The site isn’t letting me embed the video like I want to so you’ll have to click the link below to watch it on my YouTube channel.
It’s Barzee Christmas Time
For the past couple years I have had the pleasure to attend the Barzee Family Christmas which is usually held a short time after the new year when things have calmed down a bit. This year was quite fun and it seemed like everyone had a great time. Caleb got to play with a bunch of his cousins, I got to eat a bunch of food, and Aimee got to see her momma.
Part of the tradition is to exchage gifts via the White Elephant (WE) game.
